FYH 817 Large Combustion Box

INTRODUCTION

APPLICATION:

Large combustion box is the method determined by the Rail Vehicle Standards Committee ( FSF) DIN 54837 standard of the German Institute for Standardization. It is used to determine the combustion characteristics of rail vehicle materials and accessories under the influence of gas burner using wide-mouth sleeve. At the same time, it is used to determine the length of sample destroyed by flame, complete combustion time, flue gas development and combustion characteristics of dripping matter.  Through DIN 54837 standard test, it is helpful to classify products according to E DIN5510-2 for flammability, flue gas formation and droplet characteristics.  Applicable to flammability grades S2 to S5;  Smoke density grades SR1 and SR2 ( light attenuation integral );  Droplet States ST1&ST2 are graded.

STANDARDS:

DIN 5510-2: 2007 Fire Prevention for Rail Locomotives - Part 2: Combustion Characteristics and Incidental Phenomena of Materials and Combustible Accessories - Classification, Requirements and Testing Methods.
